This program promises to provide an unforgettable adventure for young outdoor enthusiasts. From social hikes through lush wetlands to adventurous canoe trips down winding rivers, our Unplugged Adventures offer the perfect escape for those seeking knowledge and a sense of belonging. With a team of experienced and certified instructors and a curriculum designed to inspire curiosity and teamwork, participants will have the opportunity to acquire a remarkable array of skills that are sure to leave a lasting impression and serve them well throughout their lives. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey of embracing the outdoors and nurturing a love for nature among the next generation.

What are Unplugged Adventures? These “adventures” will be classes/lessons/paddles/meet-ups. These are co-ed youth adventures that are designed for 4th grade and up. Every adventure is an incredible opportunity for your child to not only spend quality time outdoors breathing in the fresh air, but also to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature and discover new skills that can make an impact . By attending our adventures, they will not only have the chance to interact with kids their own age, fostering new friendships and camaraderie, but they will also become part of a larger community of outdoor enthusiasts striving to create lasting memories while having the time of their lives.

How Does it work?

1. Become an UNPLUGGED ADVENTURE CLUB (UAC) MEMBER today and embark on a journey filled with thrilling experiences and unforgettable memories! Now, we understand that you may have reservations about committing to a membership right away. That's why we encourage you to let your child join us as a non-member for an adventure, allowing them to get a taste of the excitement we offer. We believe that true enjoyment is essential, and our aim is for your child to fully embrace and use their membership, making the most of every moment spent with us. However, as a valued UAC member, you'll also be entitled to a range of exclusive perks that will enhance your adventure experience. 2. To do this, you (or a grandparent, aunt/uncle, friend) will have the opportunity to purchase an adventure membership from us, which not only provides a plethora of exciting discounts for the whole family, but also serves as a fantastic gift idea. The cost for the membership is only $75 per year, which equates to a mere $6.25 a month, making it an affordable option for families. Furthermore, if you have more than one child in the same household who would like to partake, it's just an additional $50/year for each additional child. As an extra token of our appreciation, all members who join will also be rewarded with a UAC reusable water bottle. Additionally, you can choose between a long sleeve SPF shirt or a UAC youth baseball cap as a warm welcome gift. Your membership will be valid for a full year from your sign-up date. Please note that if you wish to extend this opportunity to different households, separate transactions will be required to ensure that each household receives their own unique and personalized membership number.

3. Once you have successfully signed up as a UAC member, you will receive a confirmation email containing your unique membership number. This membership number will become your key to unlocking exclusive discounts and benefits every time you book with us. When making a reservation for any Adventure, rental or outing offered by CTA, you will see a MEMBER ID bar. Your Member number will go in that bar and it will bring up your account with your information. *All Members still need to register and pay for every adventure (even the complimentary adventures will need the member to register). Your membership will get you 12% off every adventure (plus other perks listed below).

4. We invite you to take a moment to browse our comprehensive ADVENTURE CALENDAR, where you can select and sign up that enthusiastic member of your family for the exhilarating adventures they desire. Please keep in mind that each adventure has a limited number of spots available, so it's always best to secure your reservation early, as it's a strictly first-come, first-serve basis. Additionally, we will have MEMBER ONLY events that will have a fee and some MEMBER ONLY events that will be complimentary with your membership.

5. For all UA members, attend 5 adventures and your 6th adventure is complimentary! (**restrictions apply, $45 value)

6. At Canoe & Trail Adventures, we prioritize keeping our UAC members in the loop. That's why we will make sure to send monthly emails packed with all the latest updates on our classes, events, paddles, summer camp, campouts, and much more! Being a UAC member brings even more benefits, as you'll have the first option to sign up for all of our exciting events, including our highly sought-after outdoor skills summer camps. 7. Lastly, and very important, our ADVENTURE CLUB and ADVENTURE CLASSES will start in March 2024! You can buy a membership before March (Ex. Christmas gift) and it will start in March 2024 and end in March 2025.
