Ospreys nesting on tour route

Our Small Group Canoe and Kayak Swamp Tour route has gained a new attraction. Our resident Ospreys have built themselves a new nest just overhead on our main tour route.  For those who are not familiar with Ospreys they are hawks with a wing span close to 6 feet (1.8 meters). Ospreys are also known as sea hawks and fish hawks. Ospreys catch meals by diving into the water and catching fish with their talons.

Come join us on a 3 hour Canoe and Kayak Swamp Tour just 35 minutes from New Orleans and watch these two Ospreys raise a new set of little ones this spring.
